Research laboratories are the workplace to conduct the scientific research. MPPHL is also involved in several research work. Whole genome sequence of SARS COV2 has been done and submitted on GISAID platform. Additionally whole genome sequence of influenza virus Type A has been done first time in Nepal and the sequence has been submitted on GISAID
Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) of SARS COV2 has been done at MPPHL Janakpur and till date nineteen sequences of SARS COV2 has been submitted in GISAID (Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data).
Whole genome sequence of two samples of Influenza virus Type A has also been sequenced at MPPHL and submitted in GISAID
